HI THERE.

I am a sophomore at The University of Alabama majoring in News Media and minoring in Psychology. I would like to be a contributing writer for a web or print publication, but I am also interested in online broadcast. I have been interested in journalism following a literature class I took my senior year. I have had the moxie and passion needed to fulfill my role as both student and reporter ever since. My interests include music journalism, investigative reporting and any news story related to animals. Born and raised just shy of Birmingham, I have irreplaceable respect for my state and the community that makes it thrive. With a background in Psychology, I hope to bring to the forefront of both my written and visual pieces a sense of the individual, as well as humanity.
